CTC’s “All Hands and Hearts” Community Wall
CTC will offer families and staff the opportunity to share and reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. from January 9-31 at each of our four locations in Burien, Kent, Maple Valley, and Tacoma. Join us by sharing YOUR dream or vision for an engaged, supportive and connected community!
We’ll provide the materials to decorate the wall – you provide the inspiration. Here are some prompts to get you started:
- What do you love about your community?
- How can you spread love and kindness?
- Think about or reflect on an injustice you’ve recently witnessed – how can you interrupt that kind of injustice in the future?
- What ideas do you have for a 2024 MLK Day community event at CTC?
Let’s all use this space to begin visualizing and cultivating a future towards the Beloved Community that Dr. King envisioned, where “all people can share in the wealth of the earth.”
Alex’s Story
It is an honor to share the story of Alex and his family! He has come so far and worked so hard. We hope you’ll consider a donation to CTC this year so that we can help more children just like Alex achieve their unique potential!
