February is Black History Month
Join us in celebrating Black History Month! At CTC, we are working together to dismantle racism and ableism so that all bodies and minds in our community are valued and supported.
Annual Lunar New Year Celebration
Visit CTC’s booth at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center’s annual new year celebration on February 24 from 11 am – 6 pm at the Tacoma Dome. The day is filled with more than 20 exciting performances, cultural demonstrations and martial arts, culture and arts displays, authentic cuisine, and a variety of vendors and resource booths.
Autism Resources from CTC
We created our Autism Navigation program by listening to people from the autistic community to understand what’s important. We also know that things like race and gender can affect a person’s experience being autistic. We want to help families figure out their child’s strengths and how to support them in the best way possible.

What do you enjoy most about working at CTC?
I love providing excellent customer service to the families and supporting staff and teams across CTC.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself.
I have 2 kids – Savannah’s 16 and Remy’s 3, and they keep me busy. I’m a working mom, and I love to exercise in my spare time – Crossfit or HIIT (high intensity interval training) – as well as spend time with my family
If you could be an animal or a cartoon character, what would you be and why?
I’d be Bluey! My son and I love that show, Bluey is very enthusiastic and I love the many life lessons on the show.
