At CTC, we work together to dismantle racism and ableism so that all bodies and minds in our community are valued and supported.

There are many opportunities for our staff to get involved in the work of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. We have an Equity Team, a variety of affinity groups, and a BIPOC Advisory Council that provides feedback and recommendation to leadership.

The purpose of the BIPOC Advisory Council is to ensure that Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) are at the forefront of CTC. This means considering DEIB in decision-making; identifying and breaking down barriers in access to services; advocating for families to be heard, understood, supported, and empowered; and ensuring that our staff and volunteers understand and feel comfortable working with families of various cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds.
