Whether your child is receiving services through ESIT, transitioning to preschool, or you are simply looking for community resources and support, we are here for you. Our Family Resource Navigation team is here to help you find the right services, connect with the right people, and feel confident all along the way.
What is Family Resource Navigation?
Family Resource Navigation is an individualized support service designed to help families access the resources, services, and information they need.
We listen to your unique needs and help you connect with the right support options, whether that is therapy services, community programs, childcare options, financial assistance, or simply understanding what comes next.

Our Family Resource Navigators work closely with you to understand your family's situation, answer your questions, and connect you with the support that makes sense for your child and your life. Here is what we offer:
Understanding Available Services
We help you learn about what is out there, from early support programs to educational services community resources, medical supports, and more.
Connecting You to Resources
We provide referrals and connections to services that fit your child's and family's needs, including therapy providers, support groups, financial assistance programs, support care, childcare, and specialized programs.
Navigating Transitions
We support families as children move from one stage to another, such as transitioning from ESIT to preschool services at age three, moving from early intervention to school-based supports, or adjusting to new diagnoses or service plans.
Who Can Benefit from Family Resource Navigation?
Our program is open to any family, with children ages 0-18, who could use support navigating services and resources. You might benefit if:
- Your child is approaching age three and you are preparing for the transition to preschool services
- You were told your child may need services, but you do not know where to start
- You are looking for childcare, short-term caregiver supports, or focused supports in your community
- You are feeling overwhelmed and could use a helping hand to sort through your options
You do not need to be enrolled in a specific program to access Family Resource Navigation. We are here to support any family who needs guidance, information, or connection to services.
What to Expect When You Connect with Us
Getting started is simple and stress-free. When you reach out, we will have a conversation about your family and what kind of support would be most helpful. From there, we will work together to identify resources, make connections, and create a plan that feels right for you.
We meet families where they are,whether that's by phone, text, email, video call, or in-person. Our goal is to make things easier, not add to your to-do list.
